Empowering Your Birth Experience
Your Partner in Midwifery Care
Compassionate & Evidence-Based Care
At Hope Birth Services, I aim to prioritise your individual needs, offering gold standard care tailored to your preferences.
My approach fosters strong relationships built on informed consent and autonomy.
You will experience continuity of care with dedicated support from the same midwife throughout your pregnancy journey.

Why choose me as your private midwife?
I have a vast range of professional and personal experience to support you and your family during one of life's most important milestones and I want you to have the best experience possible.
The care I provide is not 'one size fits all' and I am happy to meet you and discuss your options.

NMC Registered Private Midwife
As an NMC registered and NHS trained and Degree level BSc (Hons) midwife, you can be reassured that I provide a high standard of care and evidence based, safe practice, whilst caring for you in a kind and holistic way. I keep my training up to date and carry emergency equipment for mother and baby in my kit in case of any unforseen challenges. I can provide a full package of antenatal, birth and postnatal care including the Newborn Examination (NIPE) and Frenulotomy if needed. I am registered with Zest Midwives and so have access to full Indemnity Insurance.
I have a full kit of Bach flower remedies and can provide aromatherapy too.

Personalised
Approach
I will listen to your concerns and get to know your individual needs, history and preferences enabling care that is tailored to you whether at home, in a birth center, or hospital setting. Your antenatal and postnatal appointments will last between 1-2 hours, giving you as long as you need and will be in the comfort of your own home. Meaning that you don't need to leave your home in the antenatal or postpartum period
You will receive Continuity of Carer - the same midwife-which is recommended in NHS England's Better Birth Report (2021) which recognises that this model of care provides improved outcomes for mother and baby through greater safety for both and creating a positive experience for the mother and family.

Infant Feeding Expertise
I am a specialist in infant feeding and have over 37 years experience in this field. I will guide you and your new family with expert advice and practical support.

Frenulotomy
Services if needed
I can provide assessment and division of a tongue tie if necessary, supporting you and baby's feeding journey. Further information: http://www.yorkshiretongue-tie.co.uk
